Make sure you make a note of the nearby vets in case of emergency there are APPs which will help you locate the nearest emergency vet Or try www.vetuk.co.uk. Also worth getting a second id tag for your pet with your holiday contact number/address in case your pet goes astray in a strange town or place

Weve been taking our doberman Ailsa on short breaks here in the UK for over 8 years and generally stay in Travelodges: they are cheap, cheerful and pet friendly. You can take up to 2 pets and pay just £20 per pet per stay which is not bad when the accomodation or us humans is as little as £19 per night per room! Weve been all over the uk from Brighton to Edinburgh; Pembrokeshire to Norfolk; Devon; Dorset; Cornwall and Northumbeland. This year we will be heading for Sussex and the Kent Coast and yet again, weve bagged a bargain; £19 per night for 4 nights plus £20 for Ailsa. Cant wait and she will love every minute of it too

We are organising our first dog show (see website) , your website and advice is just what we need. One question what will the cost to you be for the supply of certificates, forms and advice etc?
Regards

Some home owners dump their pets at animal shelters where due to overpopulation at shelters almost half of incoming animals are euthanized. How can they be insensitive to such anguish and show no compassion?..Id like to believe that humans who were kind enough to take in a stray pet or adopt a pet for their children would be responsible caregivers but some dont share the same sentiments toward pets as you and I. They see a pet as property no different than a worn sofa tossed into the alley when the springs pop...These types of home owners are often the kind who and sell everything they can rip out including the kitchen sink...Some pet owners dont think through their actions.

Hi Carol,

Our foods are generally fine for diabetic dogs, but the best one is our Vet's Kitchen Light as this is higher in fibre and lower in calories than the adult recipe. You can buy it from selected Sainsbury's and Waitrose stores, and online.

Our Vet's Kitchen Adult cat dry foods are fine for diabetic cats so they would be worth a try. Plain cod would also be fine provided it is cooked.

Hi, have just found your recipe for diabetic cat. Can you recommend anything else please? Do you have any more diabetic recipes? My cat if getting fed up with the prescribed M/D and D/M. She does eat the dry food but prefers wet. Also, can you let me know if plain white cod fish is OK for her? Thank you.
