Jack has definitely fallen on his feet, living with a vet and having his very own brand of natural pet food - sounds like doggy heaven! However, it’s not always been so good for the Spaniel Collie crossbreed, whose early life is a bit of a mystery. After a puppy-hood somewhere in Ireland, Jack found himself languishing in a rescue centre after his original owners couldn’t keep him. With no-one falling for his spotty charms in Ireland, the Dog’s Trust brought Jack over to Evesham to see if a new owner could be found.
And then, as with all good relationships, it was a chance that then brought Joe and Jack together. A cancelled trip to a different rescue centre led to an impromptu visit to the Evesham centre – and then it was love at first sight (well, perhaps not love, but definitely a healthy dose of face licking and tummy rubbing!)
Since moving in with Joe and Jenny, Jack has really turned on the charm – showing off his array of tricks and talents, from shaking hands to stick chasing, and he’s keeping the family in shape with his constant demands for lots of long walks!
